Y283    .50/.52 Carbine Bullet?

Note: This bullet was recovered with four others. It appears to have had a paper cartridge. These are shorter then a normal .50 solid base Gallager. They were all recovered by Steve Baker in the Shenandoah Valley. Stelma identifies this bullet as a Burnside?
